My Dlink down (SERVICES RESTORED)
« on: March 26, 2013, 06:01:54 AM »

Ok, this happened a couple months ago also

No access with My Dlink with web browser or mobile I phone app.

Site down again? Appears so, what is everyone else getting?

This is getting ridiculous, may have to go with another manufacturer if they cannot resolve their issues.

The setup should not need a website to operate, should be independant.

Mine is down too.  I have two cameras on the same account, neither of which work.
One camera is located in NY -- ISP is FIOS
One camera is located in VA -- ISP is Comcast

I can login to the website, but both cameras have red Xs on them.
Viewers on neither wifi can view the cameras through mydlink, only through direct IP connection are they visible.
They clearly have a problem, but it's annoying because the website says nothing and I've been on hold for thirty freaking minutes when it said "your hold time is longer than 10 minute"... way to generalize.

It isnt local, that I do know.
This same thing happened before and it was DLinks problem.

I have computers on 2 different networks at 2 homes.

Neither one can access any cameras, the software says Timeout.

All cameras are on and operating as I can view them all through their IP address, hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, it is most definitely the software and website with the issue.

Maybe a moderator will step in here sometime, hopefully.

Not sure if you're revising your earlier comment or not, but you definitely can't use the direct IP (ie. 192.168.x.x  or 172.20.x.x whatever your subnet at home is) connection to the camera from within your house / network to diagnose whether mydlink is working since that doesn't involve dlink's servers, that would only diagnose a malfunctioning camera.

I'm actually at work on using my 4G cell network to attempt to connect to my DIR-826L at home. The device is seen on the initial app page however when I select it sits there for a bit then a Timeout error appears.

Thank for your information.

I would recommend that if users are having problems accessing there Cloud devices using the myDLink web site or a myDLink device app to immediately phone contact your regional local DLink support office and inquire about this, ask for level 2 or higher tier support.

Let us know what they say,

Thank you.

I presume others are reporting the problem. I've forwarded this to my contact at DLink. Please be patient.

Thank you.

All of my cameras are down as well. I can't connect through the website or through my iPhone/iPad apps. A friend of mine said his cameras are also down. Everything was fine last night.

I'm having the same issue today as well, so I don't think it is "local".

Actually it can be local as the myDLink services are not kept to one location or region. So depending on where everyone is located around the globe, some may or may not be effected.

Dlink clearly has a large issue that they're either not aware of (which doesn't speak too well of them) or in denial.

If anyone gets through to them, please indicate here and how long you spent on hold, I wasted more than 1/2 hour on hold earlier today and refuse to do it again from work when it's not an issue local to just me.

I just got word back from DLink. They are aware of the problem and are working to correct it and get services back to 100%. This is a isolated condition and should be back online soon. We hope. For those with immediate needs for help, please phone contact your local DLink support office and inquire about your problem. Ask for level 2 or higher support. Otherwise, please be patient while the services are restored. Thank you. We'll unlock this thread when services have been verified as back up and running.
