I can only think of a reason the 605L router fails to reacquire IP addressing is that its not getting any response or reply from the ISP service. I would recommend that you phone contact the ISP service to check on if they can help with this and or phone contact DLink support to see if there is anything they can help with.
Ensure the cable from the ISP outlet is in good working condition, swap out and test. Try this router at a friend for families place, someplace different to see if the problem follows. If it follows, then maybe the router needs to be replaced or RMAd. If the problem does not follow then there is a problem with the ISP service.
