Hi.
I have a DIR-827, a DAP-1360 and a Linksys RE1000. My ISP delivers the service in a ONT GPON 2516.
I've posted in this forum some issues with my WiFi suddenly not working, but If i connect with a cable to my DIR-827 everything is fine.
I've also tried several configurations BUT have never changed my WiFi security. since the begining it has being WPA2-AES with an 8 digit passcode.
In another thread it's commented that chaning the WiFi security to AES-TPIK only seems to solve the WiFi dropping connection issue:

1) What WiFi Security is the most compatible and reliable?
2) What Standard 802.11g or n is the most compatible an reliable?
My goal is to have a stable WiFi and internet.
As additional information I must comment the following:
with my previous ISP my WFI was G only (don't remember if it was mixed B and G or only G) and the WiFi security was WEP. I used a D-Link DWL-G700AP as a repeater on that time.
For almost 6 years I never had an issue with my WiFi and internet ! and it was because I changed ISP, I'm pretty sure that If I have kept my previous ISP and WiFi hardware & configuration my Wifi will still be up and running for more years to come.
