I loaded v1.04 on my 826L and after doing a Factory Reset after sending the FW file and setting up basic WiFi, 5Ghz Single mode N or default mode with WPA and or WPA2, mixed security, or WPA2 and AES only, my Mac Book Pro fails to connect on 5Ghz, A "connection timeout" message is seen. If i turn WIFi security OFF. Then it will connect. Tested OSX 10.7 and 10.8.

If someone else can verify this as well. I'll test Windows with a DWA-160 tomorrow.

2.4Ghz and security is working and connecting at the correct speed for my Mac.

I"ll not recommend anyone use v1.04 for general use. Still seems broke.

Model:DIR-826L, HW:A1, FW:1.02/1.03/1.04 (I have the weak signal using the 5Ghz band.)

I use the iPad2/iPad mini/iPhone5/MacBookAir to connect my DIR-826L with the 5GHz signal, the distance between the DIR-826L no more than 4 meters! (iOS V6.1.3, Mac OS X V10.8.3)
Note : With the 2.4GHz signal, the distance between the DIR-826L over 12 meters!

PS. All kinds of combinations have checked, I can't leave the router over 4M otherwise the 5GHz SSID will disappear.

What region are you located?
Has a Factory Reset been performed before and after sending the FW files?

I recommend not using v1.03 and v1.04 as they are faulty and do not work correctly for hte 5Ghz radio.

Was this working with the shipping version of v1.01? I recommend that you downgrade FW to v1.02 or v1.01 using the following:
FW Update Process

Be aware that 5Ghz is best in line of sight operation and with out any building obstructions like walls and doors.

Problem solved after change new Router.

I'm currently using 1.02 and would like to try UPNP and the media server with DLNA support.

Sounds like Chiko had it working just a weak signal from the 5gz network which is normal.

I'm tempted to give it a try.
