Encrypting hard drives

I was wondering if anyone has been able to encrypt the hard drives that are used inside of the NAS station.  I have picky clients and they will only allow encrypted drives.  Anyone with experience or success on doing this with the DNS-321?

It is not going to happen with production code, and if you manage to make it work with haxx0rz it will either be insecure or a major pain in the butt.  This is because you would need to manually provide the key every time it mounts the drives or you will have the key stored on the box itself (which is a major security issue).

Encrypting network attached storage (this is different however from a DAS or SAN solution) is kind of an unusable measure for the reasons listed above, plus the fact that the traffic to the DNS is not going to be encrypted either.
