DNS 323: SATA1 or SATA2?
« on: May 11, 2013, 06:42:39 AM »

Does anybody know if the SATA-interface of the DNS 323 is version 1 (1.5 G) or version 2 (3G)?

Does it make a difference?  SATA2 is backward compliant with SATA1 and the unit cannot write at 1.5G speeds, so there is no benefit to using SATA2

RAID1 is for disk redundancy - NOT data backup - don't confuse the two.
