MyDlink connectivity and stability
« on: May 18, 2013, 03:47:57 PM »

Hi all,

New to the process of setting up and having many challenges with connection stability. Some of the challenges from MyDlink:

1) I just lose connection and get a 'Unable to access your DCS-932L'
2) Advanced Settings takes 3-4 minutes to load and then mostly fails when I do an update (after another 3-4 minutes)

It's like I am trying to connect from the moon when in reality I am in Australia.

FYI all other internet base applications work fine. Running Java 7 update 21. Occurs in Chrome and FireFox.

Any suggestions to improve?

Thanks.

I've had issues with my 5222L and Chome on WIRED ethernet...

IE 9+ appears to work better.

But this is from my 2008 laptop, dual core (which rates worse than my 2006 Desktop dual core!)

Try IE in any case...

Sorry, I was referring to my issues with the firmwares..

Not with mydlink.com through PC...

I turned that stuff off a while ago.

I just use the Mydlink lite mobile app these days....

Thanks,

I'd do the same but I am trying to use the advance settings which, so far as I can see' are only accessible through MyDlink.
