Right Bitrate for divx HD content for wifi broadcasting

OK, so I could succesufully played without any interruption and quite good quality an HD movied encoded at a bitrate of 5192, with a def of 1280*544. Could anyone please tell me their succesfull stories / max bitrate and def. for viewing HD content wirelessly? Mine is this one. If it aplies, wich would be the hardware bitrate limitation? (I believe, and am not sure, that the hard limit for viewing HD content relies on the bitrate)
