DCS-2310L - Invalid Email when registering

I have 2 2132L cameras up and working, but I can't get the 2301L to register.  I spent some time with Tech support and they couldn't figure it out and concluded that there must be something wrong with the camera.  Has anyone else run into this?   I spent a few hours trying to figure this out and I would hate to have repackage and return it to Amazon.
