Hello, I just bought a DIR 645 and the wireless ain`t working properly. Wired works flawless.
On the back of the router it says:
Hardware rev A1; P/N: some numbers ... and A1E;
I`ve updated the firmware to this one:
http://www.dlink.com/ro/ro/home-solutions/connect/routers/dir-645-wireless-n-home-router-1000I`ve also tried 1.02, 1.04 but nothing is changing.
Here are my settings:
http://postimg.org/image/jh9pna4aj/http://postimg.org/image/s9zmmkoth/The wireless network doesn`t even appear in the wifi list.
When I`m changing the channel width to 20Mhz, the wireless network seems to appear in inSSIDer, but my internet speed is maxed at 40Mbps, and the signal is very unstable, not getting constant speeds at all. Not to mention the weak signal after I move away from the router into a room(aprox 10+meters). Maybe the device is faulty ? Im gonna try some settings over the weekend and probably gonna RMA it on Monday.
My ISP is a 100Mbps connection. I`ve tried a TPLink before this, which I RMA`ed, cuz of the weak signal in my house, but when I was close to it, at least I was getting max speeds with it over wireless, of 96Mbps.
My region is Romania, East European.
If anyone has any ideas, I`ll be very thankful.
ps: my 6 years old MSI RG54SE2 router performs better. It has full signal in the room mentioned above. I want to change it because it is only 802.11g, so I`m limited to 54Mbps.
