Hi,
My network configuration is following
FIOS OTN > Actiontec M1421WR > DLINK DIR-655 > DLING DGS-2208 SWITCH end devices are connect to both dlink router and switch
there is only Dlink router connected to the actiontec
All sonnections are wired with cat5e or cat6 cables
I have following problem:
I have 35/35 Mbit/s Fios connection
While download speed is in the range of 40 Mb/sthe download speed is eay slower
I have run the Fios network analysis tool and it showed issue with the Duplex mismatch shown below
Checking for Middleboxes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Done
SendBufferSize set to [132480]
running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 3.21Mb/s
running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 42.33Mb/s

OS data: Name = Mac OS X, Architecture = x86_64, Version = 10.8.4
Java data: Vendor = Oracle Corporation, Version = 1.7.0_25
------ Web100 Detailed Analysis ------
Client Receive Window detected at 524288 bytes.
2.4 Gbps OC-48 link found.
Link set to Full Duplex mode
No network congestion discovered.
Good network cable(s) found
Alarm: Duplex mismatch condition found: Host set to Full and Switch set to Half duplexD
Web100 reports the Round trip time = 87.5 msec; the Packet size = 1440 Bytes; and
No packet loss was observed.
This connection is receiver limited 30.36% of the time.
Increasing the the client's receive buffer (512.0 KB) will improve performance
This connection is sender limited 69.11% of the time.
This connection is network limited 0.53% of the time.
When I connect dirrectly to Actiontec I get speeds like this

I tried evrything on dling all kinds of duplex settings on my pc/mac but
the issue is consistent from all computers i have regardless the end device NIC settings direct connection upload is fast and no problems with full duplex while it goes through dlink it's significantly degraded and having isues with duplex
I tried both manual auto duplex settings on my client NIC
I tried all kinds of changes on dlink router
enable/disable QOS engine on dlink
play with Automatic/manual Uplink Speed
setting internet connection MTU to 1492 as was recommended on Verizon forums
nothing helped
I contacted Verizon support and they obvously blame the dlink router for incompatibility
My Router firmware is Firmware Version : 1.21, 2008/09/11
Please help, how to fix this?
