I tried a bunch of different drivers including the latest Windows updated ones, and although it is installed and recognized, it simply doesn't show any networks.

Also, upon looking at the back of the actual card, the light is blinking slowly and steadily on and off. In the manual it says it blinks when data is being transferred, but since it can't detect any networks I don't know how it could transferring any data.

Quite odd how it seems to work fine for others with Windows 7 (http://www.vistax64.com/vista-hardware-devices/209349-dlink-dwa-552-under-windows-7-64-bit.html), but not working too great for me. Of course I know Windows 7 is still in the works, but I thought I would inquire since others seemed to get the DWA-522 working.

Perhaps it's a faulty card? Thanks for any suggestions.

I got it working! What I did was restart the WLAN AutoConfig service. Then right after I could see a bunch of networks and connect to my own.

This is using the latest drivers Windows provides.

Hopefully this helps if others run into the same problem.

mbox, did you finally end up finding a solution?
I have the exact same problem except that restarting the WLAN service does nothing.
I've had this card for a couple of days and it hasn't worked at all.

Did just about everything including switch PCI slots and flash the motherboard bios.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I have the same problem, I went through dlink support and they suggested it might be a bad card.  I'm testing the new card (just got it today) but I'm not really convinced, I think it's the drivers.

What mobo are you using?  I have an ASUS P7P55D

tgillis, did you find a fix?  I have a similar problem only difference is that the card connects to the internet for a minute after windows starts then the networks start disappearing until there are none left...
