Can I connect normal Disk top PC to DIR-505 throe Ethernet cable

Depends on the mode your using the 505 in. Most of the most do support the LAN cable connection.

What you apparently want is to have the 505 turn a disk into Network Attached Storage. It doesn't do this. You can access the attached disk only through the Shareport app or URL.
