DNS-320 H/W B1 F/W 1.0
« on: July 24, 2013, 12:57:25 AM »

Hi all,

My NAS was not responding to the LOG IN because I used IE 10 as my preferred browser. Since I use Chrome the Share Center can be accessed.
However, the UPnP/DLNA function is not there. When the network drives are connected all music, pictures and videos are visible.  The Media Player will not connect to the NAS picture or playlist and will cut the connection after a few minutes searching.
What to do to be able to use the streaming function?

Regards

Hi freeman74,

the Standard Windows 7 Media Player (as recommended in the D-Link User Manuals).

However, since I wrote this message I restarted the UPnP Media Library build/refresh and after 24h it had finished 56%....

Now when trying to log on I get a error message.

500 - Internal Server Error

What has happend???  and please remember I´m using H/W B1 and F/W 1.00 like someone else with upgrade Problems.....

It's a firmware bug for B1 Hardware release. You have to update the firmware...

Hi freeman74,

a Firmware update! Wow. Where to find the goodies and where are the instructions.

I placed the conversation in the D-Link Self Service section as well and I hope I get an answer and not just the closure of my request...???

Thanks guys, the upgrade to FW: DLINK_DNS320B.1.00b03(3.07.0424.2012)(BETA)
worked without any changes to the UPnP/DLNA Functionality.
I think a third party server such as Twonky is needed but I´m not the greatest technician to follow the instruction.
Is there any way around to get the server streaming????
