Link>Welcome!
  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Is there any QoS information in the User Manual? [/list]

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for level 2 or higher support:
http://www.dlinkmea.com/site/index.php/site/support
and have them help you configure the modem for QoS so that you have priority and your neighbor who has access gets less priority. If the modem doesn't have any QoS to configure, then you might consider bridging this modem and install and connect a DIR series external router that does have QoS features as seen the following sticky:
Gaming and QoS for XBL

Thanks Bro, I have already done some testing by the same thread yesterday, but will definitely give DLink guys a call here for the level 2 support. But its weird there is no tutorial or guide for Qos for Dlink routers...
:(

Poor documentation...

Ya, Seen this with other Mfrs as well. Don't know why QoS isn't detailed more however could be due to the various ways it can be used. It took me a while before I understood some of it and a while before finding my initial information years ago and what everyones experiences have been with this. The sticky has been a culmination of everything over time. It's same principle as the DIR series, however the DSL modems have different UI and some other features that I presume that could be different.

Hope it works out. Keep us posted.
