I've been using the DIR-868L since Friday as an AP.  I really like it so far and it complimens the DGL-5500 very well 

In setting up the 5GHz wireless band, I came across a possible issue.  When I selected WIRELESS CHANNEL: 5.825 - Channel 165, the CHANNEL WIDTH went to 20MHz and was grayed out.  I wasn't able to select 20/40/80MHz AUTO.  I noticed the 868L 5GHz wireless signal wasn't showing up on inSSIDer.

After bumping the setting down one notch on the 5GHz wireless band (WIRELESS CHANNEL: 5.805 - Channel 161), I was able to select 20/40/80MHz AUTO (box not grayed out).  Now, the 868L 5GHz wireless signal was showing up on inSSIDer.

I'm still learning, so go easy (if this is the way Channel 165 is intended to work)

Also can you change to single mode AC then change the channel to 165 and post your results?

Also can you change to single mode AC then change the channel to 165 and post your results?

Changed to Single Mode AC and Channel 165 - See Picture below for results.

This is probably a issue with the N and A modes not supporting those channel width on channel 165 thus the router automatically defaults back to 20Mhz only when on that channel in mixed mode. Seems like single mode AC works though.
