I'll admit that I didn't use the search function well enough but I've become so frustrated trying to get D-Viewcam to work that I just needed to ask this (probably asked many times before) question.
I have 3 DCS-933L cameras setup in my house. These are the day/night ones with wireless extenders built in. I set them up using auto configuration with my D-Link DIR-850L router. Easy setup.
I just downloaded and installed the D-viewcam software to try and create a way to record video and I cannot, for the life of me, get my cameras added. They do not show up automatically (they are currently wireless so maybe I need to hook them up to my router??) and my attempts at manually added them result in error messages about inconsistent model numbers and can't connect.
I downloaded the viewcam manual but it does not help.
Just looking for a little easy guide so I can at least get my cameras to work in this program. They work flawlessly with the mobile and web based app but I'm looking for more functionality.
Again, sorry about asking a question that is probably sitting right in front of me but I am just going crazy right now.
