I would like to point out to new people or visitors to the forum.

Before you post anything about problems with the DAP-1360 and HW_C1 version in the forums.

You must update the firmware to v3.04 however hard the task is, regardless of how little you know about computers, hardware and so on.

Consult the manual on how to do it, check youtube if you have to and so on. There are guides, videos out there that show you how to do it, as most of these procedures are the same regardless of what kind of hardware you are using.

I have tried to update from 3.02NA to 3.04 on DAP-1360 H/W Ver (C1) and receive the following message after uploading DAP-1360 C1 3.04FW_3.04.bin.
"Invalid Image! It's invalid firmware for DAP-1360".

Suggestions?

I tried the update procedures that you suggested.  i downloaded the file in IE and also FF.  I received the same error.

When you ask region, I assume you mean State or Country.  i am in Missouri, USA

And I presume you unpacked the .zip file and used the .bin file to send to the DAP?

If so, you might phone contact D-Link support and inquired as to this issue.

Seems there is a firmware update out. Check out the .PDF files on what has been fixed or done, regardless I will stick with v3.04b01 that I know works for me and I can not get to the APs anyway.

But it only has a .zip version of the .bin file but nice to see that HW_C1 now has 3.06b01 firmware out.

Cameo Communications Inc, did a lot of tests on this unit with the latest firmware.
