Logging and the "Default_Access_Rule"
« on: November 05, 2013, 02:03:51 PM »

Greetings,

I've been using NetDefend-based routers for several years now, and generally I'm quite happy with them.

One of the more frustrating aspects of the devices is the verbosity of the log files. There tend to be a lot of entries which, personally, are useless to me; quickly causing the information I actually want to be lost/overwritten.

For example, right now our secondary ISP has a device on their network which, apparently, is sending out ARP packets. So my logs are filled with "invalid_arp_sender_ip_address  drop" entries, corresponding to the "default_access_rule". It makes it impossible to find entries relating to anything else.

Is it possible to disable the logging of "default_access_rule" events entirely?
