You should be able to manually configure the DWL to the same IP address pool by manually connecting to the 192.168.0.x first and change it to a manual setting. You'll need to static assign an IP address to a wired LAN pc then connect to the 192.168.0.x address of the DWL and configure it accordingly.

Connection Problem with DWL-2100AP

Hello,

I have joined the DWL and I configured before the ip dhcp pool  dinamic with ip 192.168.1.3 with range 40
then pool  static with ip 172.16.200.200 and 172.16.200.200 static ip manually but the connection between the PC and the DWL is limited and no internet.
What  must I do?

I believe you need to go to the LAN settings and set a static IP address there from you main IP address pool, something like 172.16.200.250? SubNet Mask should be the same as what the main host router is giving out and the Gateway should be the IP address of the main host router that this AP is connected to.

Can review page 31 of the user manual here:

Ah ok then, use the 192 address for the IP from.

I think Gateway, wins and dns need to be the IP address of the main host router though....

Does the DWL have a set up wizard? Might run thru the wizard if it does.

You might try this at home on a different router and see if you can get it connected. Do a factory reset on it and set it up. If you can get it set up at home, maybe setting it up at this place will work. Seems like this is just a configuration that we are missing. It should be working.

the connection was only with the first PC to second PC monitor went out the window that says "IP address conflict can not be free" and is connected after many connection attempts. the third PC no connection.
  This is strange.
I configured the PC with a static IP and fast you are connected.
I certainly would say  configures the 25 PC laboratory  with a static IP but the problem stems from the request of the professors who have tablets and mobile PCs.
The teachers want the managed connection from the DHCP server and write only the passphrase.
the main router has DHCP disabled and can not enable it,
it would be bad for all PCs of the school.
I did the reset and the wizard only allows you to change the SSID and KEY encription IP LAN.

You may need to see if the DHCP server on the DWL can be used if this unit has this feature. I see what your saying, you'll need to have IP addresses handed out for any clients connected to it. The DWL should use this if it has this feature. I presume it might. Check the User manual. I presume then that 192.168.0.#-100 will be the range that you need for connected clients. You may need to contact D-Link support and ask them for additional help...
