How to check port speed autonegotiated by camera
« on: December 07, 2013, 01:28:23 PM »

Hello guys,

Was wondering if anyone know how to check the speed of the port which has been negotiated by the camera itself.

The camera is 1000/100/10 (DSC 7100) and the switch is also 1000/100/10.

The switch is not manageable so can't log in to it.

Can't telnet to the camera itself, and can't see anything by logging to it via Web interface.

Any ideas?

The camera is not gigabit, it is 10/100 Fast Ethernet. The bitrate of the video doesn't even come close to reaching 100mbps, so gigabit would be pointless.
