Konica PagePro 1350W  (Does go into power-saver mode)

Previously I had no problems using Shareport to print (firmware 2.02NA, but don't recall the earlier Shareport version).  In working on a problem, I updated the 825 firmware from 2.02NA to 2.07NA.  Stupidly, I also thought it would be good to update Shareport.   I did this on both wired and wireless computers (XP).  Now, neither of them can 'find' the printer to connect to.  I've certainly burned a lot of time now trying to get this working again on either of them without any luck.

I'd prefer not going backwards to get this working again...but right now I cannot print, and have been tinkering for close to a month on this....  Would appreciate any suggestions, otherwise...

Do I need to go back to the original firmware (2.02NA)?   Where would I find it?

Where do I find prior versions of Shareport?

You might try using v4.20 SH for Windows first before downgrading or upgrading FW.
What was the reason for upgrading FW? Was there a problem?

Yes - Both...and both stopped working...

I followed the update procedures, saving current config, initially updating to 2.05NA and then to 2.07NA and then restoring the configs.  I don't recall doing a factory reset tho.

What was the reason for upgrading FW? Was there a problem?

I was working on getting a NAS unit functioning on my home network.  Because of problems, did the router upgrade.  Looks like source of NAS problems wasn't related after all.

I recommend doing a factory reset and setting up from scratch with out loading any saved configuration files. Could be some incompatibility between 2.02 and 2.07. Might help narrow it down some.

Thank-you FurryNutz for the suggestion, it's sincerely appreciated!

I uninstalled the printer and then uninstalled SharePort 3.0, installed SharePort 4.2 as suggested, enabled auto-detect and after a bit I received an 'install drivers', which I then did.   Once this was done, it appeared that everything was back!   Yeah!

I then went to the laptop, booted it, and even tho it's on SharePort 3.0, it too, saw the printer.   I've since successfully printed to it.  Stranger than fiction.   Suggests things are a bit fickle...

I'll keep your suggestion as to re-building from scratch should I have problems again on this.   Just wish my IPad could now print, but everything says won't work with DIR-825 B1, I'd have to be on rev 'C' according to the IPad AP.  Don't know why that would be different, but....
