Unix users disappeared after reboot

Hello,

I probably missed something in the manual, but I established few unix users and one new unix group on DNS-320L and changed owners and permissions of the users' respective backup directories so that only they could have access to their private data.

Unfortunately, after NAS got stuck one day, I had to reboot and all the new users disappeared. How can I set up permanent users and user groups?
