I just got word back from D-link.

They sent my request to testing facility L2 in Sweden (whatever that may be), and got the following reply (roughly translated from the reply that i got in my native language):

"That is the limitation at this moment. We asked our developers and they were hinting that it could be expanded in an upcoming firmware, but for now the limitation is 4 channels.
We cannot tell you exactly when the firmware would be ready, but our product planners in Taiwan are working on it".

Awesome, thank you for the feed back. I guess the EU region will need to be patient until the FW gets fixed and updated.

FYI:
Maybe some regions out side of the NA region may be effected by this...Reason for not seeing but only 4 channels on 5Ghz.

 5 GHz (802.11a/h/j/n/ac)

Notice on other Mfr routers that other regions outside of the NA region are only seeing 4 channels on the 5Ghz radio.

Anybody figured out a work around yet, same issue here in Belgium. I got 2 868's installed as acces points and I can't choose past the 36/40/44/48 channels...

There is no work around for it at this time.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

I will have a look on Friday and see where they are located for the Benelux. Will keep you guys posted, Netgear support was horrible over here, the main reason why I went the D-link route. My R6300's kept freezing up every few days, at least that's not the matter with the D-links, they work, but I would like to get the channels further apart so there's absolutely zero interference and maybe even more transmit power if I got the whole channel part figured our right.

I presume if you set one manually for 36 and the other for 48, should be ok for a while.

I haven't heard anything accept for the DFS mentioned in my earlier post.
