Hiii...

I have bought a DSL-2750U H/W U1 modem. I wanted the latest firmware for it. I checked on D'Link India support site. I got firmware there but its outdated. I got the dated version 2 July  2013 ver1.10 latest from helpdesk site. I tried upgrading but it failed. Maybe the firmware was for H/W C1.

Please help me to find a firmware. I don't want  to use that SAMBA service at all.

Mine Shows "Firmware Version:IN_1.08"

Also let me know if I can downgrade my firmware to IN_1.08. And is there a issue with warranty if I upgrade it to 1.11v ?

I talked to d'Link support team and they said IN_1.08 is latest for 2750U in INDIA. So if I upgrade and any issue occurs after upgrading, then will d'Link customer service center consider it under warranty because it will be like unofficial firmware installed.

The v1.11 version is for the Middle East Region. If D-Link support told you that v1.08 is the latest, then we can presume that putting v1.11 may not be support and would invalidate any warranty with D-Link. I recommend that you keep what is loaded currently on the modem.

If there isn't any issues with the modem, then upgrading FW is NOT recommended!

2750u hw C1 is a BCM cpu 6328 , 2750u hw u1 is a reltec cpu RTL8676 ,so you can not update it

I compiled the D-Link 2750u U1 Version 1.08 (RTL8676 Chip) for India using the open source Dlink has put on the Taiwan site.
I am not sure if I can put it here for everyone to use.

THE WHOLE FIRMWARE RELEASE DOCUMENT & PROCESS OF DLINK NEEDS A REVISIT. POOR DETAILING ALSO MAKES USER'S LIFE DIFFICULT.
RECENTLY IN 2016 FOR DSL-2760U (MIND WELL D-LINK DOESN'T SPEAK OF HW VERSION ANYWHERE NEITHER IN THEIR SITE AT THE TIME OF SALE NOR IN USER MANUAL), A FIRMWARE IS RELEASED AS PER SITE DETAILED BELOW.
WHERE DOES A HOME USER (NON TECHNICAL) PERSON FIGURES OUT WHETHER THE DEVICE IS OF HW REVISION??  WHY THERE IS NO MENTIONING IN REVISION NOTE (ONE OF THE WORST REVISION NOTES I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED).??
DESPITE WRITING TO HELP DESK NO ONE RESPONDS.
I'M NOT ABLE TO UPDATE CURRENT FIRMWARE IN_1.08 HW VERSION-U1 TO LATEST ONE. FAILS WITH ERROR ""product error, update file product is RTL8676S and current system product is RTL8676."

One suggested solution would be to bridge the DSL modem and install a DIR series router as your main host router instead of using the DSL modem as the router.
