Did you set the static IP in your router settings, or in the camera settings? For mine, the camera settings have it as DHCP, but it's assigned a static IP in the router settings.
I have a DCS-933L camera and can view it on mydlink.com website when the camera is set to DCHP connection. As the address has changed on occasion I set the camera to Static IP as follows:IP Address 192.168.2.102 (an address above the reserved IP address pool range for DHCP)Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0Default Gateway 192.168.2.1 (My Belkin router address).Accessing the camera locally on IE by address 192.168.2.102 works fine - no problems. However, the camera can not be viewed on mydlink.com website - I don't get a green checkmark next to the camera - I get a red cross. What have I missed in the set up ?Should it be posible to view the camera on mydlink.com web site when it has been set to a static address ?Any advice on what settings to alter and/or set would be appreciated.
