DNS-321 firmware: 1.01
PS3 firmware: current
I am having problems where the files listed on the DNS-321 appear to be truncated when attempting to access them using my Playstation 3.
When logged into the drive using my Mac, I see all of the folders listed under my main "Music" directory (33 directories). On the Playstation 3, the listing is being truncated and is only showing the first 10 directories. When browsing by folders, the list is showing alphabetical listing of A->E, instead of A->Z.
I am not doing anything fancy with permission or quotas in the web interface, this is pretty much a standard setup for the DNS-321, with a static IP address set. Hardware-wise, I am using a switch between the DNS-321, PS3 and my internet connection.
The PS3 and the DNS-321 have been rebooted many times, as well as using the Refresh option in the web interface for the drive. This doesn't appear to be a permission problem, since I can see the drive on my PS3, and can play the music from the files that are being listed. Does the PS3 even take into account permissions when logging into a network media server?
Has anyone else experienced this and know of a fix or work-around for this problem?
Thanks in advance,
