Given the rate that which you didnt provide details about your router being effected and experiences seen, maybe you should phone contact D-Link supoort immediatly for help and information regarding this:

Hopefully by the time I get my DGL-5500 back from D-Link. Willing to give it one last chance, so RMA-ing it and hope third times the charm.

FYI, D-Link is still testing and working on FW. They are validating some issues still being seen and want to correct them before releasing. I've asked D-Link to post a Beta version if possible. I'm hoping they will soon. Chrome and some other issues may have been fixed in the UI.
