Not worth the effort if you already have 1.32 Beta 01 IMHO.  I can and have turned off CAPTCHA by myself.

Skim better and pay more attention.

So you don't know either.
If you knew you would share with the class right? Therefore it is obvious you don't and merely choose to bloviate. I know you do this in the other topic, so I must assume it is your approach to all topics. You know post with no answer then rudely reply to anyone with a real question.
If someone who does know where it resides would share I would be grateful. ( Never mind it wasn't new with this. I hoped it would allow for user modified NAT table increase and release time change. Oh well.)
Ps
Is there a block function? I don't want to waste any more of my time reading posts by clueless people.
Thanks.

There are tons of threads about this new feature in the forum, so the class already knows that you only have to look into the routers internet settings.

My mistake, which I gladly admit too, was misreading and assuming it was new to this latest firmware.
I had hoped it allowed user modified settings.
Settings to increase Nat table size and lower release time, like third party firmware has.
I was wrong about that.
If it were included in this particular firmware update it would be a "new" feature. It is an "old" feature. Unless that old feature has some spectacular modification which would make certain aspects "new".

all these fixes are old fixes back before 1.21 i believe, and most are 1.22b05 which for some reason was never released. anyways. again. 1.3x firmware is a bust and has no warrant for upgrading.

If the only change in this firmware were the disabled CAPTCHA by default, then it shouldn't really have 2KB more in size compared to the old one. That CAPTCHA thing may be the only visible change in the GUI.

I noticed the same thing, there must be quite a few additional changes that aren't visible.  Of course they never tell us everything they do, they certainly don't want to have informed consumers!

They have had to changed something else then what we were informed of. Like I mean, my wireless connection is not slow when more than 1 wireless client is connected to my network. Something has had to be corrected in the first build of 1.32 beta 1

Interesting. I take it from your comment that you WERE having slow connections when there was more than one client. If you got a bump in speed, that's enough motivation for me to update, not that I am having speed problems to begin with. I wasn't having CAPTCHA problems so I was ho-hum about the update but then, my motto has always been "If it ain't boke, break it so you can fix it, then break it again". This is the only way I've ever learned anything about computers, routers etc. etc. I get very motivated when I screw something up and that motivation leads to other discoveries. ok, not on topic.

Haha, well it seems the update has corrected a few bugs from the previous build. I hear ya, that is the same way with me, you can only learn when something breaks, and then you have to fix it. In my case, it was just frustrating having the router choking from at least 4 connected wireless clients within my network. Obviously this never occurred when the first beta was not installed, it happened right after. Now it seems there has to be more to this updated beta firmware then we already know. Dlink is not disclosing what really was fixed, which is somewhat odd. Either way, this current firmware has worked miracles for me and now I don't need to have thoughts on putting a hammer to this router haha :P.

By the way, what is "CAPTCHA"? Is it "Enable Graphical Authentication"

The most inportant question with choking wirless network connections is what those wireless clients are doing. I mean, it's not so hard to choke wireless, on every router.

Even better: if you really want your webpages to load faster there is no need to tweak your setgtings or router; just get a decent AD blocker. It's those things that slow down browsing substantially. You'll see that speed will pick up.

Actually, I only assumed that CAPTCHA was the "Enable Graphical Authentication". I didn't really know for certain (until I Googled it). Yes, CAPTCHA = "Enable Graphical Authentication".

Demonized, what AD blocker do you use?
