Hello all!
I have a DIR-615 H1 router who doesn't boot up any more. If i unplug the power cord and plug it back in (no other cable is connected to the router) the following behavior is observed:
1. LAN port LEDs 1 and 3 flash green once;
2. Power LED is orange, stays orange and then flashes orange once;
3. Power LED is OFF and LAN port LEDs 1 and 3 flash green once and back to step 2.
Basically, the router is in an infinite boot-up loop described by the 3 steps above.
I tried to reset it with 30-30-30 method and install different firmwares:
1. "Firmware v8.04 build 04" - from here: http://www.dlink.com/ro/ro/support/product/dir-615-wireless-n-300-router?revision=deu_revh
2. "DIR-615 H1/H2 Firmware - Webflash image for first installation" - from here: http://www.dd-wrt.com/routerdb/de/download/D-Link/DIR-615/H1/H2/dlink-dir615h-factory-webflash.bin/3974
The only difference is that with the DD-WRT firmware the boot-up behavior is a little different (again, no cable is connected to the router other than the power cord):
1. LAN port LEDs 1 and 3 flash green once;
2. Power LED is orange, stays orange and then turns green;
3. Internet LED is orange, stays orange;
4. WiFi LED blinks green 2 times;
5. LAN port LEDs 1 and 3 flash green once and back to step 2.
Do you know if I can do anything to it or should I just buy a new one?
Thanks in advance for your support!
