Link>Welcome!

How many Xbox consoles do you have?

If you only have one, then using the single console QoS rule should work for you listed here:
Gaming and QoS for XBL

If you have more that one console then sue the multiple console rule listed there....

Disable Advanced DNS Service.
Disable WPS.
Set SPI to EndPoint Independent for both TCP and UDP.
Set Channel width to Auto 20/40Mhz

Be sure to reset the xbox console before, turn OFF the xbox, make the router changes, save settings and reboot the router, then turn ON the xbox and check for NAT status.

Here's whats connected to the router:

Xbox 1 on port 1
Xbox 360 on port 2

Wifi: 2 iPhone, 1 iPad mini, a bluray player, a wireless printer, and 2 PCs.

1. XBOX Multiple Devices  Priority 1     IP range 100-125
2. Apple Devices             Priority 10   IP range 126-135
3. Electronic Devices       Priority 100  IP range 136-145
4. Guest Devices            Priority 255  IP range 145-199

Included with the Gaming QoS instructions, it said to ENABLE WPS since I do have a wireless printer connected to the router.  If I do disable WPS, what can possibly happen to my wireless printer?

For now I will try with Enable and Disable, and see if the NAT will either be OPEN or not.

1. XBOX Multiple Devices  Priority 1     IP range 100-125
If you only have 2 consoles then set IP rage to 100-101 reserving these IP addresses for each xbox. Set Priority to 50. Set Remote IP address range to 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.0 and Port Range 0 to 65535 using Both.

2. Apple Devices             Priority 10   IP range 126-135
3. Electronic Devices       Priority 100  IP range 136-145
Set Apple and Electronic devices to 128. These all could be put in to one rule.

4. Guest Devices            Priority 255  IP range 145-199

Your Printer can connect via the SSID and PW as well however you can leave WPS enabled for the printer.

For now I will try with Enable and Disable, and see if the NAT will either be OPEN or not.

You're right, my printer is connected via SSID and PW, with that said I guess I can leave WPS disabled.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP.  I HOPE IT WORKS.

If it doesn't pan out, I guess I'll have to re-ENABLE IPV6.  My NAT used to be OPEN, but that was with IPV6 enabled and in AUTO DETECT.  I am uneducated about IPV6 so I decided to try something that I KNOW that is secure.

It works!!!  Thanks for your help!!!

I was still worried about the security of the setup so I ENABLED WPS and Advance DNS Service, also had UDP and TCP set to port and address restricted, and kept channel width to Auto.

I saw a post that sets the XBOX 1's "instant on" to "energy saving", which actually did not matter.  Both kept my NAT open.

I am really glad to learn more about the QoS side of this setup.

In the end, my wifi router NAT Type is OPEN, the wifi security is good and I have my QoS all set.

Thanks again for all the help.

If you seem to run in to DNS issues, disable Advanced DNS. Enjoy.
