HDD C0 will +1 after DNS320B restarting
« on: August 05, 2014, 11:00:12 PM »

Hello guys, I've got one DNS320B, and I found the C0 (SMART, Power-Off_Retract_Count) of my HDDs will +1 after DNS320B restarting, everytime... It is not good for the HDDs, do you guys have the same issue?
My HDDs are:
ST2000DL003
WD30EZRX

I turn on HDD Hibernation, wait enough time to let the HDDs hibernate and reactive the HDDs via accessing its network shares, this doesn't make C0 +1.
So I guess the shutdown and restart were just turning off the power directly without closing the OS.
Could the the forum admin take a look at this problem?
