DCS 5020L and Java 8

I have been unable to get any image from direct connect from my Mac  I had to update to Java 8

I get the security settings blocked application missing a  permissions attribute in the main jr  even after I add the cameras  address to the exception


I know that the finger immediately points at java   but I don't have this problem or any other exception site

can anyone point me in a direction
