FYI:http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=59817.msg239539#msg239539

You might want to go back to Beta Build 03 as it didn't exhibit this issue.

Hey Furry, ill ask this stuff here, let me know if i need to start a new thread

should i use these settings for the 5500

enable anti-spoof checking
diable media server(im not gonna share a storage device)

i did the ones in this thread already
http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=57445.0

do you recommend those
and with no more bandwidth than i have 3up/.50 down, do you recommend i leave ABE off, i would like to keep steamboost updates enabled aswell

Kind of up to you. I don't since I'm not really being checked out my spoofs and such. Thats not to say that I am either. I don't have this enabled as I don't need the router doing any more processing that it needs.

Ya, if your not using it, disable it.

Should no longer see UI hang issues.

Id test with it ON and OFF and see which works for you best. Your ISP speeds are fairly low so not sure what would make a different either way.

We have to DL that image. Can you recheck the IMG url so you can make the picture bigger?

Did you factory reset, load FW, factory reset again then set up from scratch?

Disable WPA on 5ghz, can you connnect then?

Change the SSID name to something unique and different and fun. I use Airport Extreme 5Ghz for mine.  ;D

Did you factory reset, load FW, factory reset again then set up from scratch? yes

Disable WPA on 5ghz, can you connect then? yes, even at n and n/ac combined

Ok now try WPA only with mixed TPIK and AES.

What devices do you have connected to the 5Ghz radio?

Be sure to power cycle them between changes on the router or disable the networking or Wifi adapter to clear out any old networking caches.

Is the OS on the HP updated?

Strange how it won't connect now. This the only device that won't connect to the 5Ghz radio?

No, I haven't updated in awhile, cuz I'm getting low on space.

The touch pad is the only thing I have that uses 5ghz

It was working fine on BO5,  so I don't know what it is

Did it ever work on B03 or did you update from shipping FW to B05 then down to B03?
