I just installed the latest FW version, but didn't notice any change in anything. Also there were no release notes available at D-Link Taiwan website.

What bothers me most, is that they STILL haven't fixed the FTP file name issue

Does it work with the latest mydlink Lite app?

The original FW does not. Gets 1 frame and then gets sick. IP cam viewer app works.

It still works with v2.5 and pulls down 15fps on my Galaxy tab 1.

No issues with ftp. All video files have there own date and timestamp.

I was able to locate also the release notes from the zip package at D-Link EU FTP site:

It seems that they have removed the G.726 audio support for some reason, but added MP4 recording format and the scheduled reboot function, which is a very good idea assuming that it works...

Fixed errors:

1.   Fixed the issue of ICR switch failed in schedule mode after device reboot.
2.   Modified that when pre/post event image is set as 0, the device should send off one snapshot.
3.   Modified FTP time-out to 240 seconds.
4.   Fixed the issue that the device isn’t deleted from mydlink after factory reset and re-connecting to Internet.
5.   Fixed the issue that failed to delete the first user info in the guest list.
6.   Fixed the issue that when SD memory size is full by recording, the e-mail notification isn’t sent off.
7.   Fixed the issue that mydlink account is cleared out after downgrading to the previous FW version.
8.   Fixed the issue that cannot find wireless network when change security mode from WPA to WEP.
9.   Fixed the issue that camera IP doesn’t update to DDNS.
10.   Modified the event setup that needs to create 2 media for 2 events.
11.   Fixed the issue of FTP access problem with special character “$” used for the first letter of account data.
12.   Fixed the issue that always showed motion alert on mydlink live view page when enable motion detection.
13.   Fixed the issue that cannot input password in the login window for RTSP authentication.
14.   Fixed the issue that the live view would be black sometimes when switching video resolution from 480P to 240P or 720P on mydlink portal.
15.   Fixed the issue that live view didn’t show on complete setup page of Setup Wizard.
16.   Fixed the issue that recorded video file name shows “::” on mydlink portal.
17.   Fixed the issue that failed to change password in advanced setting page of mydlink portal.

Hopefully that's not last patch for A1. Still waiting fix for this Day/Night transition problem:

I noticed a problem with this firmware...

I can't seem to playback any of these new MP4 files with whatever default codecs installed on both my Macbook Pro (OSX 10.9) or Windows 7 x64 Pro. I get complaints from Quicktime and Windows Media Player that it can't playback the video and to try to download another Codec.

Also the video playback for recordings doesn't work on the Dlink+ app on iPad either. In the Dlink+ app, the video never plays, the playback screen simply bombs out and returns the previous video list.

In all cases, I am recording to SD Card, with the following Video Profile setting:

H.263 (Mode)
640x360 / 640x360 (Frame and Window Size)
7 fps (Maximum Framerate)
Video Quality set to "Excellent"

However; I know something is wrong with the new firmware... because...

These are the exact same settings I have set for the recording profile on the newer DCS-2132 "LB1" device I recently purchased... and videos play back fine for that device (actually very good quality). The newer devices videos play correctly when launching the MP4 (on all OSes I have) with no complaines from Quicktime or Media Player... and everything works properly in the DLink+ iPad app.

I was wrong. This Day/Night transition problem is corrected for this FW. Maybe its fixed under some other error title. Log below tell status before and after FW update:

They also fixed motion detection settings for google chrome. It is available now, where it never was before. Had to use ie...

It appears they have also fixed the crazy amount of log files the camera used to email when motion detection was enabled.

I believe they also fixed the issue with the IR light not coming back on after switching from night to day and back to night.

Bad news from my side:

I had to roll back to FW version 1.02 because the MyDlink Lite application in my Windows phone became very unreliable after the update. With the 1.02 the connection succeeds almost every time, but with 1.03 most of the connection attempts failed. I'm not sure if this problem affects Android or IOS users, but at least in Windows 8.1 environment the 1.03 version is practically useless
