PS3 movie streaming from 320L

I have recently bought the D-Link DNS 320L NAS box to stream all my movies from. I previously done this via a windows 8.1 PC.

Now on most of the mp4 movies I've copied to the nas box, the ps3 says they are corrupt and don't play, I can point to the PC and view the same mp4 movie with no problem.

Not sure what is causing this issue. Another thing I noticed was when connecting to the PC you get a screenshot of the movie but from the nas box you don't, even on the ones that do play.

All movies work fine from the nas box when viewing from android/ios devices and Xbox360

I tried to use Plex but couldn't see how to point it to my movies so they would appear in the plex library?
