Can't connect through VPN
« on: June 25, 2009, 01:02:16 PM »

Hello,

I have a DIR-615 revision B with 2.25 FW installed. I've recently started doing an after hours job and need to be able to VPN in to this company's servers. I'm using a Cisco VPN client and I'm able to connect to my regular job's network without a problem. However, with the new job I've found that something is preventing traffic from passing properly through the VPN to their system. I'm able to connect fine in the VPN client, but I can't ping or RDP to any of the devices. However, I can connect to the new company's network without a problem if I do a wired direct connection to either my cable modem or Vonage adapter.

My network layout is as follows:
Time Warner cable modem -> Vonage Adapter -> DIR-615.

Any suggestions as to what to try to get this working with the DIR-615? I tried putting a computer in the DMZ and it still didn't work, so I don't know what the solution is. I also looked at the DIR-615 logs and couldn't find anything useful in there. Thanks in advance!
