One problem is the upgrade dialog confirmation is always displayed when accessing my mydlink lite or mydlink+ on mobile devices which unfamiliar user might press the upgrade button.  Because of this, if the said camera is connected via WiFi, the wireless upgrade could cause download reliability problem.  I tried to re-flash for how many times using wired medium.  But still got the same problem above.  Wifi router can't detect my camera (SEA region with 1.10.01 upgrade coming from sg.mydlink.com).  Called the service center already to have it checked.  Darn from greenish display to unable to use at all.   Looking for 1.02 also but can't find from any D-Link FTP sites.  Version 1.11 or 1.20 which the latter would be best to remove these major blunder update.

I updated my firmware a few days ago on my two 6010 cameras and have had nothing but trouble as posted by others.  The cameras do not maintain a connection with my network for more than 24 hours.  I have to re-establish a connection by unplugging the camera.  This has occurred EVERY day since I updated to 1.10.01 and then 1.11 hoping that the issue was noted and fixed by the 1.11 firmware release.  Unfortunately that has not been the case!
These cameras have performed flawlessly from day of purchase with original firmware except one of them suffered from occasional green picture in dim illumination at night.  I was hoping that the new firmware would fix that problem. 
As others have expressed-this is a nightmare firmware release.

 I have  reset one of the cameras and freshly loaded firmware and setup with no success for resolution of this problem. 

Is there any hope of this being fixed soon or do I just re flash firmware with 1.01 and get on with my life!

What region is everyone from?

When upgrading FW, are you doing a factory reset first, upgrade the FW then doing one more factory reset then set up from scratch using a wired connection? This ensures a good seating of the FW file using this process.

For now, use v1.01.18 as others have downgraded to this version and seems to work. I've passed this on to D-Link for review.

Will this fix hat the camera hangs every night and the web gui is not responsive ?

My region is Southeast Asia.  But as I posted, please remove the upgrade firmware display in mydlink lite or mydlink+!!!  Unless it detected a wired connection then it is OK.  Mine is WiFi and I think my brother bricked it!!!  Being unfamiliar, he mistakenly pressed the upgrade and both my DCS-6010L and DCS-5222LB1 are now needing repairs.  Reset doesn't work on both!!!   Waah why!!!

Be wired with the camera and PC with a router.
Factory reset the camera.
Log into the cameras web page. Look at the routers DHCP Clients list to find the IP address for the Camera on the LAN cable.
Send the FW file that you downloaded using IE. Disable PC security SW temporarily.
After the FW file is sent and the camera processes it. Log back into the Camera and do one more factory reset and then set up from scratch.

I believe the above response is not directed to me. But I suggests that F/W upgrade operation should be notification only for WiFi connected camera.

Thanks. The old 1.01.18 fw works perfecty. Rock stable with no issues.

I have 3 of these cameras. On 1 I have the problem of the greenish tint at night. And it seems to disconnect after 2 days. I have to manually turn off the power to reboot it. I am using firmware version 1.01.18 on all cameras. Considering all the complaints with the latest firmware - 1.10.01. Can anyone recommend which firmware update I can apply that might fix these problems? Would really like to be able to schedule reboots.  Does version 1.10.01 seem to work good? Would you recommend using it? Where can I download it?

I recommend that you check your regional Asia D-Link web site to see if v1.01.18 is available. Mr. Bergetun loaded it and said it worked for his camera(s).

If you look for firmware with the dlink asia site, it simply directs you to US site.

Can you provide a link to the asia site your referring too? I went to the Sinapore site and it goes to a mydlink.sg site and not the USA site.
