Well. I don't normally post on forums but I've been having a strange problem with my router. I have a D-Link DIR-615 C1 Firmware 3.0.1 Here's my problem..
About 2 weeks ago we purchased a DIR-615 D-Link router. But ever since we got it, I've been having connection issues. The router randomly disconnects every 10 minutes - 5 hours and browsers do not work when this happens. (Page can not be displayed) yet under Network Settings (Vista) it says my internet is still active and on the taskbar it still shows the globe showing I have an internet connection (Local and Internet).. yet I can't access anything. Everything else works fine. Example, PS3 Online, Skype, and MSN. But if I sign out of Skype or something it will not let me sign back in. This is very confusing. And it seems the only way I can make it go back to normal is if I reboot. This is only a problem on my PC. Other things using the connection is fine. I have Rogers Cable Internet. I've tried setting the router to it's Factory State, I've called Rogers, The Geek Squad and even D-Link. And nothing they said works. This is getting really annoying. If anyone knows a solution or recognized the issue please help me!
