How to monitor data usage

Hello,
My ISP only allows 5GB of data per month.  Is there a way to monitor my usage (by day) so I can compare to what the ISP says I'm using?

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?


Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
  • What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?

Most D-Link routers don't have any bandwidth gathering support. However, you can see if the mydlink.com access has some limited features that may show some UP and Down data. If you register the router with mydlink.com, I believe you can see an over all data of what comes in and out of the router. This site is for the DIR series routers with the L designation...
