Interchange ability of Hard Drives
« on: April 18, 2015, 08:29:58 PM »

Hi All,

Question: Can the Hard drive presently installed in a D-Link DNS-323 be read by D-Link DNS-320L Unit? If the DNS-323 Unit should fail one day, replaced it with D-Link DNS-320L Unit,  could the New Storage Unit read it?

HDDs formatted in the DNS-321/323/343 are not compatible with the newer DNS-320/320L/327L/DNS-345/etc. D-Link made changes to the filesystem precluding compatibility.
