I have DIR-636L, revision A1, firmware 1.00OR (Orange). Technician from Orange confirmed to me, that I can flash D-Link's firmware and they already did this in their lab.

So I put router to emergency mode, use firmware from D-Link's web site, after Sucess I restarted router and there is still 1.00OR, how is this possible? This means, emergency web page did not really check if firmware was uploaded? There is just percentage numbers counting without communicating with router?

I used Internet Explorer, the one which is default in Win 8, then I used Firefox 13.0.1 portable, which is recommended in many forums, but still same problem. I tried firmware 1.00, 1.01, 1.05.

please help

Di you review this? Emergency Recovery Mode

Is this a retail router or a router provided by an ISP?

If it's provided from an ISP then there could be some differences from the retail version. ISPs handle the FW on D-Link branded routers that they put there own FW on. Any coding and such would be needed to be reviewed by the ISP and not D-Link. The ISP could have done something to the HW. I would contact the ISP and ask for help in regarding this. If this was a retail version of the router bought by you, then you might need to contact D-Link support and ask for help and information.

This is strange, because you asking me questions, what I already answered in my first post.
