I have the same problem with my new ipcam 935L, after firmware upgrade v1.05.01 the camera disconnect itself after some hours. I can ping the camera IP but can't access the cam from the admin webpage or mydlink home app. My router is a Netgear DGN2200v4.
Any news or firmware upgrade?
If so I think I'll return it....

I have returned the cam...too bugs for me but I want to reply your questions:
What Mfr and model is the main host router? Netgear DGN2200v4 (look at my post above...)
What wireless modes are you using? 2.4 Ghz
What is the distance between the Camera and the main host router? about 1,5 meters
Was a factory reset performed after the update then setup from scratch? yes
I can add that if I stop the Upnp service on the cam performing a manual forward of the ports on the router the cam announces again the standard ports 80 and 443.
I think there are some bugs in the firmware so I have returned the one I have bought.
