network access list empty
« on: July 05, 2009, 08:01:40 PM »

Whenever the unit is powered down or i lose power, my network access list is emptied, none of the mapped drives work on any of my 3 systems, and i have to put in users all over again, and remap all the computers on the network.  i'm applying the 1.01 patch, but if this does not work is there any suggestions or something im doing wrong.

Try the beta code 1.03?? The unit may be defective at that point. If you power the unit down then back up properly are the settings erased as well?

no when i shutdown via the menu in IE and power back up all the settings are still there, it seems to only happen when power goes out, or somebody holds down the power button till it turns off.

Holding down the power button should still be a proper shut down. I would recommend trying out the beta code. Please be sure to reset the unit to factory defaults and reconfigure after the update.

sorry for the late reply, it looks like the beta 1.03 did the trick, and the HD is powering down again.

Thank You very much

I had this issue initially with the default 1.00 firmware...upgrading to 1.01 did resolve this issue for me.
Hope that helps...
