Video stream lost error
« on: August 25, 2015, 09:28:00 AM »

Hello, appreciate any assistance...

I have two DCS932LB1 cameras connected to  the same wifi network.
Both have the exact same settings and the latest firmware.
Both seem to be working fine when accessed directly with the local IP addresses through a browser (I can see the video feed and change motion detection).
Using myDlink iPhone/iPad App (from various devices) one of the cameras presents the "video stream lost" error below and motion detection settings cannot be changed.
Performed several power cycles, rebooted, switched to an older firmware (the latest on the support site (2.01.B3) but no avail.
Then I went on the myDlink site and was prompted to update the firmware. Done.
Video stream now works on the site (via the Chrome plugin) but still doesn't work on the App.

"Video stream lost
The video stream from your device was lost. Please try again. (Error 0.70_2_2_2_3_F4)"

Any clew what's going on?

Hello,

I have the same problem.   OK from the web page when I login (using my PC), but from the iPhone (which used to work) now I get the Video Stream Lost error.  The only diff is that my error number is 0.70_1_5_5_3F4...
This was happening with the older firmware and still happens with the new firmware.
Before I created the login PC account, I was accessing with no issues the video using my iPhone.
Any help would be appretiated..

Try this work around
 Reset your camera
Then set it up again using Mydlink lite app (This means, you need to set up your camera through Mydlink lite app of your phone)

Thanks for the reply.   Actually, after a camera power reset, seems to work.  IT still fails with that error, but only sometimes....
For most of the cases it works both from iPhone app and PC web site and both from WIFI and from outside of wifi cases (from work, from the car, etc)

You might set up a Static IP address ON the camera for 192.168.0.93. Ensure uPnP and uPnP Port Forwarding is enabled ON the camera.

I had the same problem with the dcs932l out of the box..the solution was to buy a 24 hour mechanical timer and have it turn off and on once a day.  That reboots the camera daily (at 4am for me), and it works fine again.  This was suggested to me by a radio station technician who used a dlink camera to monitor the radio-transmitter dials remotely.

Regards,
Bob

All... this may sound crazy, but I'm willing to bet that your issue here is a password issue... I know it sounds off the wall right!

I was getting the same errors, however I have 2 units that are identical, one works and the other doesn't, I realized that when I changed the password on the working model to a rather default password of "password" the errors began!!!! As soon as I changed it back to a real password, they both came back to life.

Steps:
1. Go to your browser and enter the IP address of your camera
2. It should ask you for credentials, typically its admin and then your password
3. Click on Maintenance and at the very top is the change admin password option...

I'll let you work the rest out :)
