DNS 327L - Web interface Extremely slow
« on: October 15, 2015, 11:03:25 PM »

Hi There,
I recently upgraded to the 1.05b03 and all looks well but the addons that came along with it are broken causing massive delays in the web interface.

I have reset to factory settings but the addons are still there . Are the addons installed someplace on the volume where i can SSH to and delete?

Its actually unusable as it takes around 5 minutes to load most pages.
Ive tried uninstalling once the addon-center loads but it says its gone , then refreshes and the addons are all still there.

I need a way to wipe it completely blank. Im thinking of backing up the entire NAS someplace else and formatting the volumes to remove the Addons, will this work?

Thanks heaps
Cam

Hey Camkerr81,

Are you sure that your firmware version is 1.05b03?
Where did you find this version? I just created a post in the forum asking for inputs regarding firmware for the 327L and the only 1.05 that I was able to find on the internet was the 1.05b01

Maybe you need to follow the MDL site and use the 1.04b10 in order to solve your problem?

Take care

What region are you two from?  ???

Please use what ever is the most current version posted on the MDL web site. I don't see v1.05 posted on the EU web site.

hey FurryNutz,

I am from Brazil but the d-link site from Brazil does not even have the firmware for the 327L.

I saw the 1.05 from eu.mdlink.com a few weeks ago but since a few days ago I am only seeing the 1.04b10  from eu.mydlink.com site.

Now, the 1.05b03 is something new for me..

Take care !

https://br.mydlink.com/download# shows 327L with firmware 1.04

Are you 100% certain it was the 327L on eu site?

Hey phil,

You are right and on MDL site from BR I can see the firmware for the 327L which is 1.04b10

What I wanted to mention is that I donīt even have a firmware listed on the local Brazilian d-link site for the 327L product:
http://www.dlink.com.br/produto/dns-327l

Anyway, I suspect the MDL site shares a common repository file session which means if I got to the EU, BR or any location MDL site then the file will always be the same (which is 1.04b10).

Take care!

Hi my friend

The answer to your statement is apparently no
According to what I've been informed (and yes I think it's almost corporate suicide) each region may have firmware specific/relevant to that region
