How to access Cam on Webpage without Username/Password?
« on: October 27, 2015, 05:25:21 AM »

Hello,

i've setup my 942L to access the cam from the web and i display the video on my webpage. But what does not work perfect is, that the cam prompts for username/password everytime a visitor access the page.

Is there a chance to pass a parameter like &username=guest&password=guest or something like that? So i would be able to run the cam as a real Webcam.

Best regards and thanks for any advice.

I don't think you can use it like a web cam. It needs authentication since these are based on using them for security purposes. I think you can pass a url possibly in a web page however it still needs authentication to view it.
