What quality difference were you expecting? QoS doesn't speed up your connection, it just manages it so when under heavy load, certain things slow down less then others. What issue are you seeing that your using QoS to try to fix? Stuttering? Resolution?
If the router is in bridge mode then QoS will not be used or needed. If the router is in bridge mode, QoS and other features should not be displayed in the menu.
If it bridge mode then QoS should be disabled. I'm curious why it's displayed in Bridge mode. You sure you have the router wirelessly bridged to the ISP modem/router?
When using it in this mode which is wired AP mode, QoS will not work as it required the WAN port connection to function. Turning a router into an AP.
There shouldn't be any QoS being in operation at all if you are only using the LAN side for a connection thru the router. Wired or wireless. If the WAN connection is not used then QoS does not function by default so it's not mentioned in the FAQ.
What IP address in the 860L getting from the ISP modem? Check the WAN status under Status in the menu. Is it a 192. or 10. address?
