hello guys
My DSR 250 N ,was working with no issue , yesterday I decide to update to new firmware due to some VPN group issue , the update its failed down and now the router not booting , I tried the "Reset" button with no success , I went through CLI console , and I got these error messages plus keep asking for login user ,"admin" NOT working in my case , I attached screen shot for this issue . any ideas ?

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?
  • Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?

Firmware  1.01B46_ww
Located in UAE
Wired connection

I tried the Recovery mode but there is no way to get any feedback from the router ,means Recovery mode not works with router .

update :
I did the flash  "erase all " command using CLI without touching the protected sector and now the POWER icon of the router is totally off

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

update 2 : I already contact the D-link support and they were really helpful ,they told me that IF i didn't do the "Erase all" that they can fix my issue withe 2 min , the main issue was only reassign the host !, but since I "erase all" every thing I have to send my router back to them to have a look physically but no guarantee.
