Is this a good place to ask about iTunes/DLNA for home audio?

My situation-
I recently upgraded my old DNS-323 to a DNS-340L.  So I've only moved over one blank HDD and the other one is still in the 323 with all of my old backup content.  I had 2 x Seagate ST3500320AS 500GB drives in the 323, no RAID just 2 drives partially filled with old media and backups.  The 323 was switched off for most of the time.  I had wanted to use it as a media server with a Logitech Squeezebox but I didn't have a lot of luck and was out of my depth trying to install custom firmware, so I gave up and went back to a stock setup.
My main music library is currently in iTunes on my Windows 10 PC.  I have a Yamaha RX-V477 AV Receiver and a Panasonic DMP-BD83 smart bluray/media player.  As noted above I also have an old Logitech Squeezebox Classic 3.

My question-
I would like to be able to play music in my living room from my iTunes library using some combination of the hardware I have, preferably using the D-Link DNS-340L as the media server.  Can anyone point me toward an up to date how-to or article on the options for sharing audio from the ShareCenter NAS?  I am not sure on the current state of play with iTunes as apple always seems to move the goal posts, but that is where my current music library resides.  It would suit me to have a single resource to deal with as I also sync with an iPod I use in my car.
If anyone has experience with using the iTunes Server or DLNA I'd appreciate some guidance.
